banners azules

Listening to leo dan - ,i ultima sereneta. Pretty cool song actually. but the language is irritating. definately don't hear foreign songs while going to sleep. That is what I am going to do now. There is no krsna conciousness internet radio channels. Funny. Iskon should have one...
anyway, going swimming tommorrow morning. Going to sleep right now so that i can go swimming tommorrow morning .Did not see sita andgita on sony today. But my mother did...
ah well.
Like the scene where she screws her twin's step-mom. HEy this song is really cool... avtually. Might listen to it while I go to sleep. Sounds like one of those songs tom would sing to impress a female cat...

will lsiten to a genre I havent heard before. Not heard OF before... just haven't heard before. There is IDM. NEver even heard of it. Yeah a raggae channel would be cool.
eew. Nyah. No way i am listening to that and going to sleep...

lol. there is a rock station called drainbamage. might make an e-mail id with that one. Mebbe. dentally misturbed. Not as funny.

Raggae sucks. Big time.

clicked on some alternative spiritual and ended up with modern rock...

settled on acoustic folk rock. Good songs. For insomniacs. Listening to la lune by mutual admiration society now. Just gave my mother acoounts. She is calling me now. will attend to her and go to sleep later. Swimming first thing tommorrow.

Playing the game.
Am feeling hungry.

Net chatrooms suck because people flirt even if you go to the quantum sciences room.

JAM and elephant hair

As i blogged earlier, JAM came out today.

I liked the pic of Lalu and Rabri

Very much like the real thing.

I had to printscreen the official site, and edit out the extra stuff and bring the bloody banner behind their heads to look like the JAM pick... but it sortof used up and wasted my time both at once.

mebbe I will put another thingy on the sidebar - one that shows the current issue of JAM. Pretty cool eh?
The mechanism to do this is pretty simple... just link it to a file in a geocities account, and update the pick whenever. Think I am going to do that...

need a sidebar thing that shows the top movie and top song.

Ah I am getting all excited about the sidebar again. This is about JAM AND elephant hair.

Now about the elephant hair.

I purchased elephant hair from a mohut for fifty buks. Big lumbering beast was ignored as I walked around a foot away from its huge belly...

when I saw the elephant hair ring at Chalam aunty's house a few days ago, I never thought unprocessed elephant hair would be so smooth.

But elephant hair, is really like smooth wire. The good thing is that I am getting myself an elephant hair ring. My mom's manager has a bracelet. its not exactly for the belief that elephant's hair jewellery makes you stronger, but it's just such a unique adornment for a ring.

Anyway, a fwe calls were exchanged between friends, and i am not going to anyone's house tommorrow, mebbe chalam aunty's but that's very unsure. Nikhil and I are going to head over to VT to check on Jai Hind, Xavier and KC about the entrance forms, though I have the phone numbers of all these colleges in my home.
ah well..

will go swimming for sure tommorrow. Like I did today. So will sleep early. I hope tehre is no powercut, but I am going to set an alarm anyway, just to be sure...

a perfect ten

JAM came out today. None of my articles were there, but I had been expecting that… because the last time I gave in an article it came nearly six months later.
So finished swimming, and then finished reading five point something, I think this is the only picture of it on the net, because a google didn’t show me anything.

Mebbe wikipedia has it. The appointment of the new pope, and who it actually turned out to be came out on wikipedia before it did on google. And the pic I took of the pope was the exact one that eventually showed up on wikipedia. Only, it was a clearer version.
I went from somewhere to somewhere else. I finished reading the book, went to sleep, and slept till almost twelve thirty. Got up, ate my food, got ready and headed over to college. The original plan was that Sridhar would meet me there after his AIIMS. He didn’t show up, and he wasn’t lifting his cell…
I made my own way there, and to my surprise four girls from Karnavat classes were there. Another one had just left. So the good thing is that I’ll have familiar company for GD. Yess… so I waited in line, chatting with them about all the places I had taken the forms from (KC and SIES only) and all the places I wanted to take the forms from (Xaviers, Jai Hind, and maybe Somaiya). And one by one everyone went up to the counter, paid half a grand and walked out. I was the last in our loose group. Then as Sridhar stayed as inaccessible as ever, I returned home.

Just outside thane station, there was an elephant. I went up to the fellow, and purchased two strands of elephant hair from him. He plucked it out of his head or her head, I can’t exactly tell with elephants, as that portion is too baggy to make out, and paid him fifty bucks for it.
And I was supposed to get the tail hair…
Then I headed home, and am unsure what I did. Watched a little tv I guess, and tried to make Natalie Portman black and white in a lux commercial. First, my approach was to export it in filmstrip from premier and somehow make the selected portion black and white. But dumb photoshop made everything b&w despite my selection.
Thank God I was testing, and hadn’t laboriously selected everything.
My next approach was to export two filmstrips from premier, one a colour version, and another a black and white version. Then paste them one on top of another, and cut out the unnecessary parts. Later, it struck me to use the history brush.
It was going pretty well, I selectively colored around twenty frames and then gave up as it became too damn boring.
And also difficult, as Portman’s hair was flying all over the place, and hair is very difficult to selectively colour…

Then I began to blog.

church of the poison mind

10:02

my mom just left for work, and I just finished reading five point someone. A pretty drab ending, but the book itself was amazing. First thought that comes into my mind is that i can do something like this. Easy. with a little more humour probably, but a lot less intelligence. Liked the wierd schemes of Ryan very much... and till the end did not know what was going on in Cherian's mind...

ok. So will probably sleep for a bit now, seeing that I've had only four hours sleep yesterday night. Yeah, already yawning. Will watch a bit of tv first.

Listening to hurch of the poison mind by culture club right now...

plans for the day
1) sleep now after tving
2) paste pictures in BMM forms
3) head over to coll
4) mebbe head over to a friends house
5) come home, NOT go to play badminton
6) finally start studying for the entrance

almost in the same dilemma again... what to read next. Five point someone was an amazing book. Got me out of the HP universe anyway. I almost plunged into that thing... plich. Hitchhiker's thing. The last two lines are incoherent because they dissappeard behind winamp, which is always on top. Oh yeah, this is a notepad blog.

first rains

the monsoons are around the corner. that means nuts to me - except results. Probably the single most dreaded word in a student's life. Went swimming in the morning, got up only because there was a huge power cut and I really felt like I could chill...
people were playing badminton, and there were many there today.
Backstroked a bit, learnt how to stay afloat even on your stomach, and basically have to learn a few strokes before I learn swimming.
came home and began to read five point someone. Really cool book, and the longest day of my life chapters (all seven of them) are hilarious. the fact that there are seven of them are hilarious, I've gotten through only three... which are not exactly hilarious, but actually a bit frustrating. The book is great though.
My mom kept interrupting me while I was reading, and I kept on reading, like the weight for the cooker, tsome wierd red-tailed bird, and stuff like that.
then she told me it was raining.
Two seconds later I was photographing thefirst drizzle of this year...

which does not exactly give you the idea, but the splattering of raindrops on the wet mud in my balcony does...

i always wanted to take the pic of aclump of mangoes on that mango tree... but never came around to actually do it.

But I took the last remaining mango

i still have a few mangoes in my home... so can enjoy it while it lasts, and then, wait for another journey around the sun.

The engine-jack thing was amazing. Reading Five point someone. Page number 121. Wanted to stop at hundred, continuted reading. not at all sleepy. Will have trouble waking up tommorrow in time for swimming. Damn. Mom asked me to go to sleep, and I am yawning now suddenly, so I think I will go to sleep now. No mangoes in the fridge. Damn.
