Trek to Rajmachi

That's Manoranjan, and it's aptly named, its a tiny fort, almost a blister or something, but there is an awesome seat on the turret to sit and have a leisurely smoke while surveying the skies and two valleys full of cars, distant trucks, trekkers, and trains

and there was this calf tied to a tree that got really curious about my mobile camera. Hey, any excuse to use that Cows tag.

There was an aborted attempt at this trek a couple of months ago, and we decided to give it another go. Two groups ended up going, and it was a pretty dry trek. Did not have the complete Rajmachi experience without every single soul in the village shivering in the dark, drenched to the bone and wondering what the hell they are doing on top of a hill instead of a comfortable bed in their own homes. The sun was warm for most of the day, and it drizzled a bit only in the evening. The clouds were rolling over mountains and into valleys...
Oh yeah, we stayed in a different house, so could not sleep on that bed, but mebbe next year I will give it a go.

wtf? seed

This looks like something that does not exactly belong to a plant. Oh yeah, it was sticky, and bits of it went flying after we were done with it. And it was smelly as hell. Umm... ok forcing one more similarity, spotting one of these can be pretty difficult :P

Random field

This one just sprang up on me. We were taking a drive through the town, cruising to the regular spots, and I had just passed this field so many times. There was a sweet little temple in the middle, and the walk through the grass felt like I was in a painting or something. This was a very typical scene actually, and the weather was sort of well behaved... had a feels good man moment

Up in smk

Lately, because of a combination of having too much stuff and too much time, imm running out of roach material before the ciggies. So, eventually there is just a bit of foil and the plastic chaddi holding the smokes together. Also, friends insist on storing smokes in holes in the seats of cars for some reason. The packet stuffed in the back of a jeep? We left it there

Trek to Raigad

First time to this one. We were practically living in the clouds. The light was doing strange things everywhere. Was pretty dreamy, must have been because of all the water in the air. There are a lot of features visible on this fort, the widest variety I've ever seen. Think that this was it, the most developed of em all. The statue of the dog was something else. Got much better pics on my mobile phone than my SLR. Been happening a lot lately.
