Stuff

Due to excessive uncyclopedia editing, or atleast a reasonably accurate pretance, there will be the inclusion of uncyclopedia style templates in this post.

==Kuwait Department==

Was going through the newspapers from Kuwait... funny thing is that the newspaper costs 20 bucks, as compared to something like five bucks here. Thats a hundred and fifty fils. Ok 1 fil is roughly equal to fifteen paise.

So the newspaper costs a hundred and fifty fils. Water costs 1000 fils for twelve bottles of a litre each... I know you won't take the trouble to do the math, so I will just do that for you. All the things I do for you... just builds my karma I guess. So thats twelve rupees and fifty paise for a bottle. Pretty cheap, almost as much as it is in India. One unit of electricity costs 6 paise - now that is not even a fil. By comparison, a unit of electricity here costs around four rupees per unit. Still not THAT big a difference.

Wait till you hear about the petrol... here it ranges from thirty five to fifty two for a litre. There, it costs like six fils... or to put it in Indianese, ninty paise. You might read that again, so I will just write it again, petrol in Kuwait costs ninty paise per litre.

An article in the newspaper talks about this guy who ran into a lampost, got the lampost to the police station and asked for a case of damage to public property against himself. Might laugh at him and call him stupid, but I thought it was a damned cool thing to do.

I think people in smaller countries are more responsible citizens... this is knowledge from accumalated sources that I cannot pinpoint. If it does not take too much time, I might even persue that line of thought, but I think I am right here. If this is true, it might work on the same psychological principle as group conscience or something related to it, a study which showed that the larger the group, the longer the time it was required for one man to step forward and help someone in struggle. Obviously, if it is a smaller country, people know that the kickback from their taxes are larger, and anything they do with public property more dearly affects them - therefore they are probably more responsible.

The sons of the soil thing seems to be a problem everywhere. Kuwaitis are worried that there are more immigrants than actual Kuwaitis.

==Great Wall Department==

There is something called the great wall of India, and this has nothing to do with Rahul Dravid, or the 1500 mile long government commissioned great hedge of India to keep out, amongst all things, salt smugglers.

Guess what I stumble across in a nineteen seventy three issue of National Geographic? A great wall of INDIA! I live in India, and I don't know about this. This is like weird and freaky. This is stupid and ignorant.

The Great Wall of India is in Rajasthan. Looks pretty much like the wall in China, but there are absolutely no web references available about its exact location and length... The web throws up hits about Rahul Dravid and the said salt hedge.

==Ashwin Department==

This is a game that I play whenever we are too bored to play anything else. It is probably the simplest game ever invented, and I did this with a friend. The exact date and time this happened is already chronicled on this blog, and I will have to dig that up, but here is an example of the game anyway. Oh yeah, the rules are simple, everyone involved decides on a winner. Wise observations during the game...

1) The game is so crappy, that you feel like a loser even if you win

2) Do not make the mistake of saying "I am such a loser" in the middle of the game, because you will and then you are

3) Ash is like crap - it is the remains of what was once a great cigerette

4) Or a great person

5) Aishwarya Rai talks as if she was once burnt

6) Some stars are bright, some are not so much, and you cannot count them. Stars are like people that way.

==Links department==

Links are frowned upon, I know, but what the hell, don't fucking click them if you frown upon them so much.

This guy has a weed farm in his house. Check it out.

This is hilarious and totally rings true. Some of it atleast.
