Atleast as sure as I can trust SIES to make it. Did nothing today but listen to music, watch x2, and parts of the wimbledon finals. Lost interest after Nalbandian lost, because he was my favorite. But Federer came a close second, and he only lost a set against Hewitt in the entire tournament. I would have been surprised if Roddick won.
Venus definately did not deserve it though.
Anyway, so that is that, and this is jsut something I should blog because I must blog something today. Figure that out if you have the inclination to.
Stuff I post. It is a stream, sometimes conscious, sometimes subconscious and sometimes unconscious.

how to fool the IAS
Ok, so you have a twenty one letter string and the max capacity of the IAS is something like 8 chars, and the server just won't take the load, how do you get your anagram anyway?
simple - overload the server even more, keep resubmitting your request. Most people will leave and come back after five or ten minutes to try again. If you get in ypour string just as soon as this happens, then you can anagram a long string in the lull following a server overload. As you keep resubmitting your string, with every subsequent resubmission, the charchount should steadily increase...

So i get up early morning, and there is this insane raging discussion on where the entire group should go out to.
The choices included, but were not restricted to:
1) Marine Lines
2) Bandstand
3) Worli Seaface
4) Pizza hut
5) The homes of three friends
there were other, even more innovative ideas;
6) Dhobi talao
7) Planetorium
8) Talao Pali
9) Dombivili
and crap like that. In the end, from a group of around fourteen, three of us went to marine lines.
We walked around south bombay after visiting the library, then had food at kamath's. then to gateway of india, where there was this wierd pressure phenomenon when water washed up agains the wall, it wouldn't wash back down, but would spring out of the cracks as if there were taps in them. Cool thing to see.
Then I headed over to SIES, took down the timetable. So BMM is going to start. Yeahahah.
My roll number is twenty six. Cool.
The timetable has two days with two hour lecs on introduction to computers. I am going to ace those classes atleast. Tommorrow, I am reading up on landmarks in 2oth century history... to see how things are.
Then came home, and slept off after sending away Aashray in a somewhat rude manner. Dman.

maybe Iill start a new blog about being a BMM student.

The repaired fourth floor toilet
Ever since the ladies common room got a major upgrade, guys at SIES have been dying to get a nice place to pee in. In fact, this guy Saurabh and I used to go to the toilet every morning, to 'survey' the site, and report back the status of each stall to the guys in the class. The usual thing was wierd-loose-motion, cigerette butt, sticks (yeah really) and small lumps of whatever you can expect to find in the toilet, particularly the one at SIES Jr college, and particularly the one on the fourth floor.
In the rare occassion that the toilet had to be used, because of the 400 limitation on humankind's bladder, we had to 'disect' in one of the stalls. This is a gross thing involving the breakdown of faecal matter by projection of liquid with high urea, albumin, bile salts and glucose content...
Grossed out yet?
That's just half the story. The horror stories that surround the fourth floor toilet. You will never understand the stigma of using that toilet.
It used to stink worse than the public lavetory at Bandra, and not even a septic tank full of dead bodies in Waghle Estate smells worse.
In fact, this one guy was so whacked out by the toxic fumes, that he claimed that he had a twelve inch dick. Nothing like the guy in the Sydney Sheldon novel with the twenty five inch dick. where the fuck will he put it man? Anyway, back to the point - this toilet was repaired. Aashray asked about this. Seems that it is going around in the grapevine. Apparently it's a big deal.

the expiriment which failed for unkown reasons
The rains are lashing out at my curtains like… well like monsoon rains in Mumbai do, and you cannot really compare that with anything else. Half an hour ago, I was under the arch in Jogger’s park, discussing luck and God with Aashray. We conducted a small experiment to verify the existence of god, by openly proclaiming to the lashing Mumbai monsoon rain that if it stops in two minutes, we would acknowledge the presence of a God.
Two minutes later, the rains showed almost no sign of abating, which can mean only one of these two things:
1) God in fact, does not exist
2) Even God is powerless against the influence of the Mumbai rains.
However much we would both like to agree with the second option, we had promised that the first was the way out if god did not listen. But now, that I am actually thinking about this, the rains ceasing to stop can any of these things:
3) There are various Gods, and we failed to invoke the particular deity responsible for the Mumbai rains.
4) Even, if we did manage to invoke the particular deity responsible for the Mumbai rains, judging his malevolent character by the nature of the rains, it would be extremely unlikely that he would be willing to subside the rains even for a little time, and would, at the most, resist the temptation to make it rain even harder (this is what appears to have happened).
5) God is a self-confident conceited bastard who does not need to prove his existence (he is, in fact a bastard, for those few who are willing to take the energy to disagree, find God and ask him who his parents were)…
6) God is this stupid fellow who kick-started the universe, but it ballooned out of proportion ran amok beyond his control, now the most he can do is watch with sadistic pleasure.
7) God has his reasons for making it rain, and probably more devoted farmers asked for it.
8) God has taken a personal aversion to Aashray and me for reasons he refuses to divulge.
9) God WANTS people to believe that he does not exist, or at least maintain some kind of neutrality over this, again, for reasons he is unwilling to divulge.
10) God does whatever hell he pleases, and any prayers or invocation aren’t enough to make even slight changes in the great grand plan.
11) God only listens to the REPTILES. (Shh… don’t tell anyone I actually said that)
12) We did not have enough faith. For some reason, faith is needed to see God. According to me, sight is more necessary for faith.
Actually, I happen to believe that I know the actual reason:
13) Two minutes was too short a time for God to execute the order.
And we woke up… the summer shining in my eyes.
Summer wine.
Ok yeah, today was supposed to be my first day of college right? Knowing my college, it was pretty damn typical to postpone it, after the students take the efforts of hauling their asses over to that goddamned institution. Anyway, after all the anticipation… college turned out to be pretty much a downer in the first day itself.
So came back, slept and listened to music all day long. Then had illuminating conversations with Aashray about camels raping bandicoots. Don’t ask.
14) God was angry because we talked a lot about weird sexual activities amongst humans, animals, and both.

That's the emoticon for a drunk, pointy nosed, devilish chef with a toupee in an updraft, a bushy-mustache, and a double chin.
A little over an hour before my college begins. I really hope it is not a big let down as Aashray says it is.
